Voice Lessons ~ Vocal Coach ~ Riverside, Ca ~ Randa Lee

I am an award winning vocalist with a California Teaching Credential. Have toured all over the USA, Canada & Europe. I offer voice lessons & vocal coaching in all popular styles.  I offer my services to motivated vocal students wanting to improve their singing abilities such as increase their vocal range, develop better breath control, learn about ear training, improve your diction & enunciation to become the vocalist you've always wanted to be.  I work with amateur & professional vocalists: students as young as four years old to seasoned performers as well as bands and songwriters. I can help you sing better "just for fun" or to develop a serious career as a vocalist.

Enjoy Your Thanksgiving

Enjoy Your Thanksgiving

May your stuffing be tasty...
May your turkey plump,
May your potatoes and gravy
Have nary a lump.
May your yams be delicious
And your pies take the prize,
And may your Thanksgiving dinner
Stay off your thighs!

Five Little Turkeys

Five Little Turkeys
5 little turkeys standing by door,
One waddled off, and then there were 4.

4 little turkeys under a tree, One waddled off ,
and then there were 3.

3 little turkeys with nothing to do,
One waddled off, and then there were 2.

2 little turkeys in the noon day sun,
One waddled off, and then there was 1.

One little turkey better run away,
For soon will come Thanksgiving day.

Turkey In The Straw

Turkey In The Straw

As I was a-goin' down the road,
With a tired team and a heavy load,
I crack'd my whip and the leader sprung,
I says day-day to the wagon tongue.
Turkey in the straw, turkey in the hay,
Roll 'em up and twist 'em up a high tuckahaw
And twist 'em up a tune called Turkey in the Straw.

Went out to milk, and I didn't know how,
I milked the goat instead of the cow.
A monkey sittin' on a pile of straw,
A-winkin' at his mother-in-law.
Turkey in the straw, turkey in the hay,
Roll 'em up and twist 'em up a high tuckahaw
And twist 'em up a tune called Turkey in the Straw.

Met Mr. Catfish comin' down stream.
Says Mr. Catfish, "What does you mean?"
Caught Mr. Catfish by the snout,
And turned Mr. Catfish wrong side out.
Turkey in the straw, turkey in the hay,
Roll 'em up and twist 'em up a high tuckahaw
And twist 'em up a tune called Turkey in the Straw.

Came to a river and I couldn't get across,
Paid five dollars for a blind old hoss;
Wouldn't go ahead, nor he wouldn't stand still,
So he went up and down like an old saw mill.
Turkey in the straw, turkey in the hay,
Roll 'em up and twist 'em up a high tuckahaw
And twist 'em up a tune called Turkey in the Straw.

As I came down the new cut road,
Met Mr. Bullfrog, met Miss Toad
And every time Miss Toad would sing,
Old Bullfrog cut a pigeon wing.
Turkey in the straw, turkey in the hay,
Roll 'em up and twist 'em up a high tuckahaw
And twist 'em up a tune called Turkey in the Straw.

Oh I jumped in the seat and I gave a little yell
The horses ran away, broke the wagon all to h---
Sugar in the gourd and honey in the horn
I never been so happy since the day I was born.
Turkey in the straw, turkey in the hay,
Roll 'em up and twist 'em up a high tuckahaw
And twist 'em up a tune called Turkey in the Straw.

The Pilgrims came

The Pilgrims came

The Pilgrims came across the sea,
And never thought of you and me;
And yet it's very strange the way
We think of them Thanksgiving day.

We tell their story, old and true
Of how they sailed across the blue,
And found a new land to be free
And built their homes quite near the sea.

Every child knows well the tale
Of how they bravely turned the sail
And journeyed many a day and night,
To worship God as they thought right.

Giving Thanks

Giving Thanks

For the hay and the corn and the wheat that is reaped,
For the labor well done, and the barns that are heaped,
For the sun and the dew and the sweet honeycomb,
For the rose and the song and the harvest brought home --
Thanksgiving! Thanksgiving!

For the trade and the skill and the wealth in our land,
For the cunning and strength of the workingman's hand,
For the good that our artists and poets have taught,
For the friendship that hope and affection have brought --
Thanksgiving! Thanksgiving!

For the homes that with purest affection are blest,
For the season of plenty and well-deserved rest,
For our country extending from sea unto sea;
The land that is known as the "Land of the Free" --
Thanksgiving! Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving

The year has turned its circle,
The seasons come and go.
The harvest all is gathered in
And chilly north winds blow.

Orchards have shared their treasures,
The fields, their yellow grain,
So open wide the doorway ---
Thanksgiving comes again!

Thanksgiving Time

Thanksgiving Time

When all the leaves are off the boughs,
And nuts and apples gathered in,
And cornstalks waiting for the cows,
And pumpkins safe in barn and bin,
Then Mother says, "My children dear,
The fields are brown, and autumn flies;
Thanksgiving Day is very near,
And we must make thanksgiving pies!"

A Thanksgiving Alphabet

  A Thanksgiving Alphabet

...Turkeys, table spreads, being together,

...Happiness and homes to protect us from all weather,

...Aunts and uncles, a reunion in Fall,

...Nieces and nephews, family members all!

...Kind-hearted kin coming over for dinner,

...Surely you'll have fun, but you won't get thinner!

...Gourds and pumpkins, mouths open wide.

...Indians and Pilgrims we remember with pride.

...Very special times-there could even be snow.

...Imagine what it was like at Plymouth long ago.

...Never forget how the settlers led the way,

...Giving thanks and blessing this special day.
